CGI
Working as a Service Designer at CGI means a varied everyday life. Here you are offered the opportunity to develop as a consultant both in local customer deliveries and in major global commitments, but always close to the customer and its business. You get a stimulating environment where you get the opportunity to work in small, short projects of a few months to large, long commitments. We participate in and run projects and commitments on site at our customers, but mainly from our local offices. We work both individually and together with other colleagues in our projects. Our assignments are carried out with the support of established methods and models based on industry standards.
As a Service Designer, you will be responsible for the user experience in your individual projects with a varied focus on tasks and tools. You are part of a team that works with the whole experience and the project can look very different. Your role can range from working independently with our customers to being part of a delivery team in the Design Studio or together with other profiles within CGI. You will work broadly in the Service Design area with everything from research and concept design to supporting UX designers or decision makers.
Your duties include:
• Research and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data
• Develop sketches and solutions for trigger materials and prototypes
• Facilitate workshops and coordinate meetings with multidisciplinary teams
• Develop concepts with a focus on the customer and user experience
• Present decision documents such as a description of customer needs, solution proposals and recommendations
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
To thrive in the role of Service Designer, we are looking for you who are curious and like to work broadly in Service Design all the way from research to solution proposals and change work. You have experience from insight work, research, problem formulation, idea generation, leading workshops and are used to switching between working in teams and independently. You also have fluent knowledge of Swedish and English.
We want you to have experience from / within:
• Have worked as a Service Designer for 2-4 years designing digital and physical services and flows that balance user needs, business goals and technical conditions.
• Has a good habit of working in digital tools for visualization
• Has a good habit of working in digital tools to document customer and user needs.
• Has a good habit of collaborating with UX designers and developers in teams and projects for the development of digital service experiences.
• Has a good habit of collaborating with clients and developers of operations, services or business in projects and assignments.
