Service Designer

You are a Service Designer who is confident working in a fast-paced environment and within multi-disciplinary teams. You should be a quick and curious learner who is able to prioritise tasks when working on various projects. You are enthusiastic about building capabilities around Service Design and promoting a human-centred design mind set across the wider team.
You are confident in practicing Design Thinking and have the ability to move from insight discovery to hands-on prototyping simultaneously. You are excited about experimenting in real-life environments, along with an openness to new ways of testing products and services; always with a goal to identify relevant problems and develop innovative solutions that matter to customers.
The interview will focus on a piece of work you have done or your portfolio. We ask you to send us a copy of this prior to your interview for us to review.
About Admiral Pioneer
Admiral Pioneer is a new entity within Admiral Group with the objective of seeding, launching and scaling new businesses in areas of increasing societal importance. We are focusing on three significant domains:

Responsibilities
- Delivering end-to-end Service Design, UX or customer experience projects
- Using your passion to build impactful solutions whilst balancing value and cost
- Working with teams of colleagues, partners and start-ups towards a uniting vision
Requirements
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Deep expertise in ethnographic and immersive customer research
- Experience running and managing field experiments from clarifying the hypothesis to set up and measuring results
- Ability to move from insights into prototypes and experiments through preferred digital tools such as Figma, Adobe XD etc.
- Expertise of human-centred design processes and curiosity to adopt new approaches to product and service development
- Strong track record of collaborating with product owners, technical teams and data scientists

It would be beneficial if you also had:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a design-related discipline
- Expertise in Adobe Design Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, etc)
- Interested in the startup world from FinTech, InsureTech to mobility as a service
Qualified candidates must present an online portfolio that:
- Demonstrates a passion for digital product development and deep customer insights
- Shows experience with diverse content and subject matter, innovation and usability
