Service Designer

Full Time

PwC Norway

What is it like to work as a designer at PwC?

We are convinced that the complex problems of the future can only be solved if we work together, and that we exploit the potential of new technology and adopt new methods. At PwC, we have friendly and skilled experts, easily accessible under one roof. As designers, we work side by side with economists, technologists, lawyers, climate consultants and other experts, to create services that people really love.

As a designer at PwC, you get the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting issues for clients in both the private and public sectors. Some of the issues we work on are: How can insurance companies protect lives, health and assets through customer-oriented services? How can banks help people manage their finances? What is the path to future mobility, and how can people travel easily without destroying the climate and nature? How can we think completely new and create sustainable health and care services? How can the public sector work together to solve the most complex challenges ahead? How can companies seize strategic opportunities already today?

You will work with leading companies in society and business, from the Munch Museum, the Police, specialist and municipal health services to Gjensidige Forsikring, Ruter and Remarkable. Companies that share our ambition to create holistic services and a sustainable future.

With us, you will become part of Norway’s most experienced service design environment that delivers work of high international quality to satisfied customers. We have a culture of helping each other, solving problems together and having fun as a team. You get to grow and hone your own challenges, but always have the team behind you.

With us you will have a varied everyday life, which includes tasks such as:

  • Participate in all phases of a project, from insight and idea to concept development and implementation
  • Facilitate workshops for our clients
  • Visualize, evidence, prototype and test concept proposals and solutions
  • Prepare final reports and delivery documents with both visual and written content
  • Help win and plan new projects
  • Support and guide our customers through projects
  • Explore tools, such as within AI, to challenge and develop new design methods
  • Ultimately, lead projects

Is this you? We are now looking for committed and curious newly graduated service designers who enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams. You are confident in your own profession, and at the same time humble towards the perspectives and opinions of others. We believe you are a person who dares to try new things and who wants to help develop the design profession further.

We are looking for you as:

  • Have a master’s degree in design or equivalent
  • Have a good understanding of service design / design thinking and knowledge of methods for design research, idea development, visualization, prototyping and communication of service concepts
  • Have expertise and/or interest in UX design and digital prototyping
  • Proficient in digital tools such as Figma, Miro, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.
  • Are motivated to contribute to our sales process with proposal writing, customer dialogue and finding new project opportunities
  • Communicates well both visually, verbally and in writing
  • Speaks and writes fluently Norwegian, possibly another Scandinavian language, and English
