Job Description
You will be responsible for:
Understanding and synthesizing context – Including clinical needs, challenges, business & market impact, competitor trends, etc.), defining and articulating relevant insights to produce high-quality UX design directions.
Conceptualizing product – Conduct and lead analysis of user needs. Create frameworks and interaction concepts across domains. Define role of product within a broader ecosystem. Establish design principles, experience requirements, and guide teams with clarity and accuracy.
Defining workflows – Create interaction framework, define workflows and translate them into functional designs for application screens (wireframes and prototypes).
Detailing Interface & usability – Apply and define interface and interaction principles in conjunction with guidance from our extensive Design Language System. Define and apply usability principles specific to the contexts of use.
Visualizing proposition – Creating experiences, prototypes and demos that together create a great experience in alignment with the Philips brand and design language. Use appropriate skills (sketching, prototyping and specification) to define and communicate interaction concepts to marketing, software development, and customers.
Leveraging technical backdrop – Identification of opportunities and constraints inherent in technology and platform decisions and ability to illuminate the impact of technology choices on user experience and product quality.
Collaborating for success – You will be working closely with developers, product managers and business partners and you should be able to effectively communicate your ideas to large groups or cross-functional teams. And should be comfortable working across time zones and geographies.
As the right candidate for this role, you have:
Bachelor or Master degree in Interaction Design/Design Strategy or Service Design or have a compelling portfolio of your to demonstrate expertise
Minimum of 3 years relevant UX and Service Design design experience in one or more specific business domains.
Passion for innovation, user experience and have knack interest in healthcare
You have a strong aesthetic and visual sensitivity
Expertise and talent in interaction design and visual design as well as for your specific competency, knowledge and capability.
Experience in using the following tools: Sketch, Axure, Prototyping tools (e.g. Invision, Flinto), Adobe Creative Suite
Basic knowledge of agile software development processes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
