The Position: Interaction Designer II-Service Design
Interaction Designer-Service Design create the new services propositions to deliver an end to end customer experience lifecycle. As a Interaction Designer-Service Design, you are expected to design holistically – gathering and utilizing business and customer insights, and to have the ability to reframe service challenges, articulate opportunities, define strategies, create concepts and lead the development of innovative new services from initial brief to delivery. Interaction Designer-Service Design are able to discover, understand, and communicate the business requirements of our clients, the emotional desires of their customers, and the context in which these two come together.
The Contribution
- Conduct user centered design approach including analysis, exploration, storytelling, concept design, prototyping, user testing and implementation in all aspects of service design stage of a project.
- Develop ideation and service improvements for the current customer journey and expressing these in a revised journey blueprint.
- Conduct, analyze, and synthesize research as a means to identify opportunities that can achieve lasting impact.
- Develop scenarios and service blueprints that describe end-to-end customer experience, touch points and back-end service delivery systems that embody our brand and values.
- Plan and lead co-creation workshops with clients, partners and customers as part of analysis and design of new services.
- Manage the design process, drive decisions, track issues, and assist in estimating resource needs and schedules.
- Participate as a contributor to an interdisciplinary team that includes other designers, program management, strategists, and technologists.
You Are
Someone who wants to influence your own development. You bring to the organization the following competencies;
- At least 3~4 years of designing product or service experience end-to-end. Experience in product innovation, design or strategy consulting, startup environment is preferable.
- Comprehensive understanding of design process, methodology, technology and tools (personas, journey maps, information architecture, wireframes, mental models, etc.)
- Strong project management skills. Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency with sketching, visualizing, prototyping and testing of service solutions in both early and late stages of development.
- Professional with the use of service design techniques: value proposition, journey mapping, service specification, blueprinting, testing, etc.
- Updated on the latest techniques/trends/thinking within your field and ready to share your knowledge and thoughts with both colleagues and clients
- Ability to convey and elevated design point of view.
- Excellent presentation, communication and facilitation skills.
- Master’s degree in human-Computer Interaction or a related design or behavioral science discipline.
- A passion for creating products and services that resonate emotionally with people.
