We are looking for a Service Designer Specialist to lead strategic Discovery initiatives. This role is essential to explore new perspectives on consumer needs, transcending the usual interface to focus on complete and integrated experiences. The professional will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the entire Discovery process, ensuring that our hypotheses and concepts perfectly align with market expectations and demands.
Remote work model with 4-month allocation, collaborating directly with the Product team. Opportunity to significantly impact an innovative product, with a focus on meeting the real needs of end users. Dynamic and challenging environment with the freedom to explore and implement new ideas and concepts.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in leading Service Design projects, with a focus on Discovery and product concept development.
- Proficiency in strategic research methods, including key user interviews, persona development, and user journey mapping.
- Ability to create and validate highly refined wireframes and prototypes, conducting workshops and validation sessions with stakeholders.
- Ability to perform complex analyses, interpret large volumes of qualitative data, and translate insights into product strategies.
- Experience in leading usability testing and design validation on an organizational scale.
- Ability to think beyond conventional solutions and deliver results that transform the user experience.
- Someone with the ability to engage multidisciplinary teams and a strong ability to build relationships and trust at an organizational level.
Desirable Skills:
- Strong understanding of web and mobile technologies and ability to lead technical integrations and APIs.
- Competence in defining and supervising the implementation of accessibility standards and handoff between design and development.
- Experience in managing conflicts and expectations in highly complex environments.
Responsibilities:
- Define and lead the execution of ethnographic and shadowing studies to capture nuances of user behavior.
- Oversee the development of journey maps and experience flows, aligning them with organizational strategic goals.
- Innovate in information architecture for global products, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Conduct A/B testing and other service experiments to validate hypotheses and inform the continuous innovation process.
- Strategically document and communicate workshop and testing results to influence leadership decisions and future roadmap.
